Modern Great Gatsby / Flapper [OOTD series]

Hey guys!

I had just a bunch of set backs lately... my wisdom teeth healing process, trips, and I'm recently just recovering from a bad cold and cough...and I haven't been posting as often as I had planned. Anyways...here is that outfit that I wore for my cousin's bridal shower!

From the title, the theme was a great gatsby / flapper style, however I wanted to keep it modern so I just chose a modern style dress with colours from the time. These colours would be neutrals, golds, silvers, anything shimmery or pearly, and black obviously fits in for all occasions.

So I'm wearing a pearl and sparling headband with my hair done curley off to one side. My nude/lace strapped dress and pastel pink purse to match...and of course, black wedges.

Sorry for the quality of the photo but I had ripped it off my instagram because I cant' find the original. Oops ! So I have a very obvious colour scheme going on here, just black and white with a pink sheer cardigan. I think the black and white makes it chich and professional but the pink adds a little dynamic touch to it. What I love about the sheer cardigan is that it flows gracefully when there's a breeze.

Pale Neutral Pastels [OOTD series]

Bonjouurr !

So as you may or may not know, I had attended a bridal shower on Sunday and I brought a change of clothes since I didn't want to be in that outfit to go out a casual dinner. So I'm going to share with you Sunday afternoon's OOTD! I only consists of pale, neutral, pastel colours and I just love how toned it is. I think it's perfect for the summer because it doesn't attract heat and it's super bright.

Hi guys!

I really need to stop trying on my post titles... It's just not working out for me lol. Anywho! I went shopping and picked up two polaroid packs- since I had events to go to this weekend, a aztec printed dress with a cut out at the back, and a BRIIIIGGGHHHTTT yellow top! I've never owned anything this bright- or yellow at all! I'm super excited to wear it in public since I haven't gotten the chance yet. The thing is, I get a bit self conscious sometimes... and if I'm wearing a shirt as bright as this, I'm pretty sure I'd feel dead from getting stares. Also what i love about the top is the heart cut out at the back and the peplum!

Vintage & Formal [HAUL series]

Hi lovelies,

So I think on Monday I went shopping!!! I picked up some goodies that were super cute or a good deal. I mainly went to Forever21 and H&M. I got a cute nude dress with black lace overlay and it is super flowy at the bottom of the dress. The maroon crop top is super cute too because of the little lace strip in the middle as well as at the bottom of the crop. I got a handy organizer that I plan on using as a toiletry bag for camping or a makeup and accessory organizer for when I got on trips. The navy, pleather tight skirt was on sale for super cheap and I figured that I could never go wrong with having formal things in my closet- perfect for those cute dates or professional outtings.

ALSO- Here's a sneakpeak of the dress that I will be wearing for a bridal shower coming this Sunday! It's the nude lace dress!

It really consisted of only black, maroon, and gray..even the flats I wore were black! Anyways, I would have preferred not to have a sweater or cover up just because it takes away from the cute top... but it was a chilly/windy day, so I had to.

Cat Up [HAUL series]

Hi guys~

I went shopping with my friend yesterday and picked up some goodies! I got a kitty shirt, and its SOOOO soft....! A sephora make up brush set with a mini bag, beaded nailpolish, and a hair accessory. 

I saw the cat shirt and it was too adorable to leave behind... but the bad thing is the material will fuzz up really easy. The brushes are SUPER duper soft as well and it's small enough to please those asian eye-lids because we have a smaller crease than others. The nailpolish... on the other hand was a no-go...never will I ever buy it again... it looks absolutely disgusting dry and makes my fingernails look like mold. Big nono....... the hair accesory I purchased was for a bridal shower coming this Sunday. The theme is Great Gatsby/Shine Bright Like a Diamond and I thought that this would be amazing to show that. I also bought a dress to match it up but I'll be creating another post for that after the bridal shower!

Over the weekend I went to my god family's cottage and here's an ootd! What I love about it is that it allows me to tan my stomach! I'm wearing a white busier crop tank that has a lace pattern and I paired it with blue short shorts! Underneath, but not visible I'm wearing the cute pink bikini that I purchased from aerie and I think I posted that a while back!

Hey there!

So here's an OOTD that I put together for a very formal evening or a cute date. It only cosists of black and dark navy blue. I just love the simplicty and the cute haulter top with the triangle cut out is super sexy/cute. Also, if you wear haulter tops, I think having your hair up is the best to show off the tie around the neck and it will help broaden your shoulders!

Woohoo! Hey guys,

I went shopping around because I saw sales or had coupons. So I went to La Senza, PINK, and Sephora. Everything seems to have a pink theme haha. Clearly, this shows my obsession. Anyways I had a coupon for La Senza and I got the padded ... bandeau...crop tank... thing.. SUPER CHEAP, and the free mini dog and tumbler from PINK by purchasing the purfume (haha i went cheap), and a few make up products from Sephora.

All I have to say is that my experience at PINK that day was honestly horrible.... but anyways I did make my purcase that day...

Hey!

I think i'm 99.999% sure that everyone knows Blogilates (Cassey Ho). I would like to share with you what I bought from her clothing line and I think I am in LOVE. I weill definately go back and buy more more moreeee. The only thing is the shipping throws me off a bit. A little bit like Threadsence but....I guess it isn't too bad.

What I purchased was her signature "Blogilates" booty shorts, a pink tank that reads "Train like a beast, look like a beauty", and a purple water bottle with the same quote.

Sample Sale Anyone? [HAUL series + Review]

Hey everyon!

For those of you who love to catch good deals, I'm sure you've heard of the 'Sample Sale Guys', what it is are a bunch of brand names that are sold at a cheaper price. They all have different discounts, but in the end, they are cheaper. The thing is, they may be sold at this price due to defects and damages so just make sure you take a look at your item before you purchase it. I'll talke about what I bought first then give a review!

So what I bought were two pairs of TOMS!!! I've alway wanted them fo rtheir comfort and style (plus the one for one is defa bonus). I purchased them in navy blue and black. Then I bought a navy romper with 3 cute buttons and a black dress that has a lot of straps.

Details:

TOMS: $40/pair (ORIGINIAL 48-55) [They prices for them decreased I blieve]

Review:

I honestly think the prices are not too big of a difference... I can't guarentee that everything you go there that you'll find something. I've gone there before and left with nothing, or I've gone here and come out with more than 2 things I love. Apart from those four things, I've also gotten a Michael Kors purse for $350 I think and a Marc by Marc Jacobs macbook case for $40-60... I'm a bit hazy with those prices. A little tip would be to go with flipflops but bring socks, and LAYER yourself up with a bandeau or tights/leggings where you can easily slip things on. The changerooms are NOT private and is shared with the same gender.
